I sensibly tried to drink a glass of water between all the beers, seems to have done the trick. Well that and a lie-in <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

I tried to follow your example as best I could but some tables had no water.

My problem, apart from all the high alcohol beers I was drinking was the fact I had two tickets. 20 beer dollars, so 20 drinks not including the pint of Goods store that appeared in my hand at the end of the night. I must have dozed off on the bus because it got to Liffey Valley before I realised where I was. I had to walk probably 2 miles or more from Liffey Valley to Palmerstown.
