I'd agree. You have to pick a value of 1st, 2nd etc in borda count and based on this the size of value different people can win. Which does not seem fair.

Here's a question that has nothing to do with voting systems. Will the beers all be nitro tap, all bottles, or a mix of the two?

Fantastic, I was hoping somebody (a_friend_in_mead/TBN) would come up with a genius method on how to calculate the winner.

I agree that Plurality with elimination is good, then at least there is a direct relationship between peoples preferences and the winner.
