just a quick heads up on the up coming porterhouse oktoberfest. the festival offically starts on the 8th.
the selection of beers this year is made up by the following...on tap-porterhouse alt,franciscian wells friar weisse,erdinger oktoberfest,paulaner,fruh kolsch,unertl hefeweisse and einbecker urbock dunkel. the bottled selection is made up of the usual suspects and the following guests-pinkus muller pils,pinkus muller special,pinkus muller hefeweisse,augustiner oktoberfest,augustiner helles,kostritzer schwarzbier and schneider weizen edel weisse.

Delicate brews that I reckon are best for summer drinking, but I'm glad to see the beers from the last brewery in my adopted home town making it to my homeland. Can you get your hands on the Pinkus Jubilate, Wally?
