a lot can change between bottling and a couple of weeks later, especially with a beer containing some strong flavours. give it a month or so
Its been in the bottle for 2 weeks now, bottled it a week late so I thought it might be ready for this meet up, gonna leave it for nother 3 weeks and taste again, it might balance a bit if it conditions for a few more weeks
Good night, that. I think Saruman's chocolate wheat beer was the stand-out for me, though ChillieBillie's MultiMalt was very good, likewise Bog_Mrytle's Heather Ale.
Great meeting new guys Atticus and Michael2009 too.

Hmmm... looks like I'll have to corner him at next year's EasterFest
I nearly forgot: Ramfan's beers were both brilliant, though 33cl between 15 people doesn't go very far The doppelbock was very full and biscuity, like bourbon creams. The lambic could easily be mistaken for something out of Cantillon. I wasn't so keen on the fruit element of it though, and would love to have tasted the base beer. Cheers, Ramfan!
