Beers on Friday? 16 years 8 months ago #1

My wife has an Ebay party to go to so I booked the Burlington and will be spending my time (or most of it) at the Bull and Castle before I head to the hotel for some sleep, or crash the ebay party <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

I will probably be in the Bull and castle from 6pm although I am off so will be floating around town doing a pub crawl of sorts and taking notes for my book.

burlington is far from B&C. there're closer hotels which don't eat into your drinking time you know.

Is it a colouring book? <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> like the way you dropped it in there though <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
any bus will drop u in town but not too close to the proper beer suppliers <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt=":cry:" title="Crying or Very sad" /><!-- s:cry: -->

There are closer hotels true, BUT the closer ones on a Friday night are extortionate where as the Burlington is a 4 star hotel for under €80.
Jurys was something like €169 for Friday night <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->

Its under 2km away anyway so about 15 minutes walk or a short taxi ride.

What's an ebay party? I thought the whole point of ebay was to allow you to rummage through other peoples unwanted crap [b:3n4h2n41]without[/b:3n4h2n41] having to actually talk to them.

I thought that was big brother? <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
