I enjoyed last night: well impressed with Saruman's mild-like Bitterbock, TheSolutionTo's honey and ginger ale, and Séan's orangey bitter. Cheers to our hosts for the food: much appreciated, and I only wish I'd had bigger pockets.

I had a good enjoyable night again, who would have thought that drinking beer would be enjoyable! It was very interesting to try the three spiced Xmas Ales that Adeptus brought along. I was expecting to taste additional flavours from the oak, however the oak seemed to mellow the banana flavour and bring out other flavours. I think I'll split my next brew and chuck one of those oak plugs that Silenus provided into one bucket, just to see what happens. Thanks to the B&C for the grub, very thoughtful, and very tasty!

Yes, thanks Geoff and B&C for the grub! I said it before, the ICB meets are one of the things I miss, meeting like-minded brewers/drinkers and being able to try other people's beers while getting feedback on your own. I quite enjoyed Saruman's saison-like wheat beer and TST's very smooth Ginger Nut.

Feeling a bit rough this morning though. I probably should have left when most others did instead of having a couple Rodenbach Grand Cru with Séan and Kieron. Managed to resist the kebab though <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
