I'd be up for a meet up in Galway, not far for me.

I'm guessing that either people aren't interested or no-one's willing to organise it.

I've 2 suggestions...

1. We can meet up in the new Oslo bar in Salthill once they're pumping they're new beer.

2. A meet at the Galway Beer festival next month.

Any takers?

Why not have meet this Thursday at Oslo as they're finally bringing out their own beers? I'll be there for sure.

Any one interested in setting this up? As Ianj Palmer suggests it could involve a trip to the oslo or the bierhaus/pump house. I know there are a few home brewers in Galway alone as wwell as plenty others in the west

HI I paid a visit to Oslo and the are very happy to host a meeting and agreed we can bring samples of homebrew to share taste. They are busy on weekends son she suggested Thursday or an early meeting 6pm if we want weekend. They would also welcome a visit from the ICB community tour etc if there was interest. I will start a new thread to see if we can get interest in a meeting.

Hi that sounds good we could also get home brewwest to come along with some of his newer products etc or if people had a wish list of stuff maybe he could take it and let us know, i am sure Brian would n't mind he is only down in Barna. I can't really to commit to mid week or thursday though, i live in Oughterard and work in Clifden so an early meet at the weekend would suit me. i Know they have a sister pub in Moycullen as well so that could also be an option for a change of venue etc.
At the moment i generally keg my beers although i have a weissbeer fermenting i intend bottling so could provide some , dont know how they would be about bringing cornies etc.
