Sounds like the most interesting Oktoberfest they've had in a while; the draught lineup was quite poor last year compared to the fests where they had the likes of Andechs in. It's good that they've brewed an Alt this time. I look forward to trying it.

Speaking of which, we'll try and put together an official ICB visit to the Porterhouse Oktoberfest on one of the weekends it's running. There will be free beer.

on a sad note, last night I overheard the barman in Porterhouse North saying the keg of Hop Head on the tap was the last one they had. Whether its being restocked or not I don't know...hopefully it is

That's your lot, I'd say. You're on Alt 'till November, then Vienna through Christmas, Chocolate Truffle Stout in March and maybe Hop Head again in the summer if you're lucky.
