sorry to be a killjoy but this years has got to be the worst EVER

choice of beer is just not good.
some people dont seem to have grasped the notion of a decent pint in the glass.
rammers. and the clientelle.shudder.

look go anyway but just dont hope for anything new or good.they are once again selling gulden draak and D.T.'s by the pint.

agreed....met rebel there too on fri night... mainly eastern european lagers. Nic selection from weinstepahaner who seem to be making a big move judging by the amount of flags, posters etc. Nothing of interest from irish producers that i saw ( kinsale lager was on sale) HUGE crowds so they are obviously playing to the masses. a huge array of beers both draught and bottle but not much that you wouldnt get in the bierhaus on a normal sitting. no branded glassware to speak of ...everything in pints or bottle. I stuck with the well's own beer as it was as good if not better than most I tried.

Well we went and had a mighty time, lots to choose from and lots of styles tried, the wells bananna bread beer was unreal, I'm going to try and replicate it next week, some of the fruity ciders went down well, stayed from about 5pm till closing. Realy enjoyed it. Eight of us in total and the owner asked us would we come back on the 12th Dec for their brewery birthday celebrations.
We were very impressed.
I suppose I tried about 7 diferent beers but the wells own beer is hard to beat

12th is the debut of the new beer ....he didnt give any hints as to what it is ?
