Full steam ahead here.

To attract the more adventurous beer drinker we hope to have the West Kerry Brewery ([url:3hi95rra]http://www.tigbhric.com/grudlann.html[/url:3hi95rra]) around presenting their product.

All other beers sourced from Dean McGuinness' Beer Heaven ([url:3hi95rra]http://www.premierinternational.ie/[/url:3hi95rra]).

More details to follow...

I recently spent a week in dingle, with the family, close to tigbhric. They had the blond ale on cask, which I really enjoyed, quite often! I also managed to get a couple of samples of the darker ale that they are now bottling, and was impressed with both, but enjoyed the cask more. Their setup is quite dinky, probably the size of an average garage. The beer garden was nice and enclosed, so it was great to enjoy a pint, while being able to watch the kids.

In addition to this I can confirm that the produce of the West Kerry Brewery (not to be confused with the Dingle Brewing Company), will be present.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

July 13, 2011,
ANNASCAUL , Co. KERRY - The community and publicans of Annascaul, Co. Kerry are glad to announce that the fourth annual Annascaul Beerfest will be held in the village on August Bank Holiday Saturday 30 July. As well as a wide range of premium beers from around the world, the Annascaul Beerfest will also include the debut of the locally-brewed Tom Crean’s Premium Irish Lager. The day is a fun day out for young and old with live music, a Food Garden and children’s entertainment.
From 2 p.m., patrons of “ANNASCAUL BEERFEST” are invited to the hometown of Antarctic hero Tom Crean to taste beers from both near and far. The Dingle Brewing Company has produced an exclusive premium Irish Lager named after the heroic Crean --- the very first pint of which will be poured in the South Pole Inn on the day. The world beers are brought to you from Premier Beers International and include brands from Poland, Canada, Singapore and Tasmania and will be found in five of the village’s pubs.
The South Pole Inn are providing children’s entertainment such as bouncy castles, magicians and face-painters and there will be live music both inside and outside venues.
This is the fourth incarnation of a beer festival in Annascaul and a new development --- the Food Garden --- will be present in the Tom Crean Memorial Garden. Local food producers and food vendors will set up stall in this very tranquil and beautiful space.
The last three years proved to be a great success with proceeds going to various local causes. This year all profits go to PRIDE IN OUR VILLAGE , a local campaign to improve the appearance of the village of Annascaul. This campaign is run by local volunteers with a keen interest in the local community. The world beers are on sale at €4 a bottle and all profits go to the cause.
