Well, if turned out to be a BBQ and 'craft beer' event without any actual craft beer then there might still be room for someone to do the real thing.

I've got a kamado grill (big green egg) that I use a phenomenal amount. I'd love to see an American-style cookout for enthusiasts.

I've also got a BGE, over 10 years now. BBQ in this country is typically grilled burgers, sausages, very over done chicken etc. Proper BBQ is as far removed from this as industrial beer is from craft.

Much more tasty is the 12 hour smoked brisket, or the smoked whole chickens.

Andy here from TBG. You'll all be glad to hear this will be a proper craft beer event. Our other business (the one that pays the bills) has led us to work with many of the bigger drinks brands, which we do some very enjoyable and creative work for. We're experienced event producers and managers and work across a wide range of festivals and brand work.
This event is a separate entity from Neon, but the team will be producing and managing it.

I am a BBQ fanatic, and craft beer lover. So, in a nutshell the beer will be of the craft variety and ALL the hot food will be cooked using live fire or smoke. No gas. No boring, bland beers.

We're releasing more details very soon, which I'll share asap.

Can't wait to finally get this off the ground, it's been a long time in the making- with various hurdles- but we've got there...

We nearly did a one day version last year, but pulled the plug for various reasons. The time is right to do it this year.
