New brewpub/restaurant opening on MacCurtain Street in Cork. Seems to be run by the Cotton Ball family so not sure if this counts as a new entity in it's own right.

So it was. Called a "nanobrewery" in a lot of the press releases so I'm guessing it'll be a 200L braumeister churning out specials and they'll have the Cotton Ball range alongside.

The old Independent Brewing premises in Carraroe looks to be opening again as Connemara Brewing . I don't know if it's related to the contract brewer that has been releasing beers under the name this past few years.

Carlow Brewing Company have submitted a planning application to open a brewery/brewpub in Sandyford.
