Their demise was more linked to their owner's financial failings. Although I suppose you could argue they failed miserably to market themselves as a brewery.

regarding closures.... Kinsale lager brewery closed up around 2007/2008, so not sure if that comes under the lifetime of Beoir

I think Kinsale had ceased production by the time this site started, though the lager was still being produced at Beamish.

Oh, and Celtic Brew were still going, making lager for Mao and Monty's. That stopped about 2008.

No, they are two different breweries, but pretty close location wise.
