I was on the Badgers on Saturday too. Enjoyed the Golden Champion but really didn't care much for the First Gold or Golden Glory. I followed them with a Whitewater Belfast Ale, which is a million times tastier than any of them.

First Gold seems to be getting mixed reviews. If anyone has bottles of it that they just can't stomach I'll be willing to take them off your hands, I won't even charge for the privilege

This morning I am drinking...

...only joking! I wouldn't be having beer first thing on a Monday 'cause I'm in work.

Since it a Monday and I'm in work I'm on the gin instead.

the lads over on Jims forum where also disappointed with it, its a nice beer, its just they could have gotten more aroma/flavor out of 7%AA finishing hop

Maybe my expectations are lower

Surely the AA% doesn't make a difference for an aroma addition though?

As I recall, I enjoyed the First Gold the last time I had one. I stuck one in the fridge afer reading these posts so I could sample it again, so will do so tonight.
