I'm inclined to think it's an error in their menu.

Oh, I quite agree that that is the most likely explanation.

I just wanted to point out that the debate about whether calling it a lager, or not, would affect sales, is academic, as it is not up to the Porterhouse to make that decision.

Hi Guys,

I'm assuming that it's an error on the menu. You can be sure that we would never promote it as a lager and I don't imagine that PH would deliberately do it either. Presumably, they've more interest in selling their own lagers over GH. I'll bring it up though

Thanks

Aidan

I just noticed the following additions on the 'Hooker Locations' page on the GH website:

[quote:2spkqczi]The Porterhouse, Covent Garden, London (coming soon)
Anseo, Camden Street, Dublin 2 (coming soon)
The Oarsman, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim
Ryans of Parkgate Street, Dublin [/quote:2spkqczi]

Some nice additions there. The first one is interesting - is this the start of Hooker Brewing's Grand Plan for World Domination?

Just to say I have at least one pint of Hooker on nearly all my visits to the Bierhaus in Cork and it remains really a lovely refreshing beer. Well done Aadan and Ronan - on the evening of the Heineken Cup Rugby FInal a few weeks back Aidan was cleaning the pipes in the Bierhaus before the game - thought he was the new barman there!!!!!
