I think if the stout is big enough and strongly-flavoured enough it will work. Think Wrassler's.

never really thought about it that way to be honest. I do enjoy a few pints of Guinness during the summer more than most people though I'd say

I find stouts to be one of the few beers that hold their own in the heat
