Crean's on Aer Lingus! 12 years 6 months ago #7

Craft in Ireland is getting very popular (as you might have noticed). Expect to see a lot more of this kind of thing happening as others want to move into the market.

Interestingly, I haven't seen Dubliner Lager on tap recently- that was brewed in Liverpool.

Based on their website it seems clear the draught is made in Ireland, that's certainly the implication when they talk about the water etc.

Let's hope they can get a bottling plant or something going on-site too at some point, if that's what it would take.

Slow going in the US, too; mostly the niche airlines:

[list:257wt6wi]Frontier serves Fat Tire and did serve Oskar Blues PA at one point
Alaskan servers Alaskan Amber
Virgin America serves 21st Amendment IPA
Jet Blue serves Sam Adams Boston Lager[/list:u:257wt6wi]

Note the major US airlines' conspicuous absence:
American/USAir, Delta, and United/Continental.

I was on a flight today - there were cans of Crean's for 5 euro.

The menu clearly states "Brewed in Dingle" ... ?

Didn't get a look at a can, but like I said, that's what the menu says...
