New Indian restaurant stocking Irish craft beer 13 years 2 months ago #1

I see a new Indian Tapas-style restaurant, Dhaba, on Anne's Lane off South Anne street is stocking Dungarven bottles.

As well as this great news, they also have a draught beer called “Our Little Darjeeling” Red Ale. Says it's from Ireland and comes in at 5%.

Anyone know who'd be brewing this for them? I know O'Haras do a fair bit of contract brewing.

Hoping to drop in tomorrow.

If it's 5%, it's probably 8 Degrees - Sunburnt Irish Red.

Well spotted, fobster!

€5 bottles and €4.50 pints says the website: pretty good for a restaurant. Or a city centre pub, for that matter.

That's the one that crossed my mind yesterday!

There was a 15% discount in the Irish Times last week for the restaurant, so I checked it out and lo and behold, good beer!

Looks like a must visit. Any review of the food?

Just looked at the menu and I HAVE TO EAT HERE! Any menu that has both Lamb Kid Brain and Currywurst on it deserves a visit.
