O'Neills on Suffolk Street.

Last time I was in there (about the start of November) they had 32 different taps at the bar. Not sure if they were all working, but it certainly looked impressive. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

I had O'Haras stout and Friar Weiss, both excellent, and there was plenty of the usual mainstream beers available too.

If the ladyfolk like wine, L. Mulligan Grocers is a very good option as they have a great selection by the bottle or glass. The food is very good indeed and if someone insists on macro beer they can have Staropramen or Stella.

Yea, mulligans is a great spot, top craft beer (no Irish macro stuff) , good wine and great whiskey selection plus their food is really excellent (and very reasonable) . I'd advise booking though if you do decide to go, it's been super busy lately!

Farringtons in templebar is good also with a growing beer menu and all the usual stuff aswell.

Bull and Castle also great as it has both great craft beer and the usual.

Porterhouse templebar is great but no Irish macro beer. Not sure what there wine selection is like.

All the pubs mentioned in the thread are great, just depends on what the ladies usually go for.

Porterhouse should satisfy non-craft drinkers as they do have decent lagers in there. Most macro lager drinkers will take anything you put in front of them anyway and if they're not happy with the PH beers then it's time to find new wives!
