You're right that it's not really the E-numbers that are the problem, but rather the way that the ingredient list is required/delivered. That's too bad that the list of ingredients isn't required on beer - I don't imagine that it is required for alcohol either. That lack of requirements really leaves alot of possibility for people not particularly knowing what is actually in their beverage unfortunately. Most of the beers that I pick up here in DK have an ingredient list on them, but I'm not sure if they are legally required to do that here, or if it is actually an all-inclusive list either. Maybe I should try and find out the answer to that one. Either way, if people are going to drink beer with artificial flavoring and any other additives then I think they have the right to actually know what is in the bottle/can before deciding to imbibe.
