[quote:1k522l7k]Never had it on tap but the bottles leave alot to be desired.. [/quote:1k522l7k]I'm not crazy about it in the bottle either. I think it's the weakest of the three offerings. The stout is excellent. Their wheat beer has grown on me since I stopped stupidly comparing it to hefeweizens and started judging it on its own merits.

I'm not a fan of any Irish rad ales really. It's a very underwhelming style altogether. Not much hops but invariably not enough malt either.

Rebel Red is the one that's come closest for me but I'm probably hoping for a beer that doesn't really fit the style which is a pointless expectation.

I also had it in the Bierhaus. I'd say it's more than just a re-branding, because it's like a completly different beer. We had one side by side with a Rebel Red, and it was a much deeper ruby coloured pint than it's Cork version. A lot richer in taste too. If it was a blind taste I would have said that Rebel red was Molings, as it tasted a little watery beside O'Hara's Red.
Definitely worth a try from the tap.
