what a wonderfully shocking taste attack this beer has,I had a bottle of this beer over the christmas and found the hop flavours truelly delicious. The hops listed for this beer are,"nelson sauvin, amarillo", dry hops are,"simcoe, cascade, centennial, ahtanum, nelson sauvin".They then say that they use loads of late hops and bucket loads of dry hops.Anyone else ever taste this beer if so could you let us know which is the hop flavour that is doing all the shouting,

I thought this was a great beer aswell, the only problem I had was that I thought it as a bit too complex and so I probably couldn't see myself drinking too many in one sitting, that aside, it's a great beer.

I had that a couple of times & thought it was a whopper beer as well. Definitely one to finish off the night - taste buds are useless after it!!

I like this one very much too, very flavoursome. I feel one of Brewdog's best regular alcohol level beers.

I got to try this on draft over christmas whilst in the UK, was quite surprised to see this in my old local.

I'd tried most of the the other brewdogs but never bothered with 5am Saint as it sounded a bit boring compared to the others, I think it was the "Red Ale" description that was putting me off to be honest. I have to say it was a fantastic pint, deep caramel flavour and strongly hopped but not over the top. Have since tried the bottles and the draft was a bit smoother / less gassy, but I suppose thats always the case. Good stuff either way

I have to say that I really like 5am Saint; it doesn't go "overboard" on the intense hop flavours. I could not say what the hop varieties are though; I will leave that to the experts! I also got to try it on tap in Leicester last year, and it was nice but a toned-down version, I thought.
