Just got wind of this place[/url:j3bgovnw] at Tower Bridge. Could be worth a look.

I've been doing a bit of digging myself and came across this website www.pubs.com/main_site/search_re ... alalepub=1.
Useful with the google map etc.

Wish I had known all this info last week, was there also from Monday to Thursday. I just went for all the casks in the few pubs i went into. Opposite Tower Bridge along the Queens walk direction of the Eye I found a lovely big place called Anchor, right on the waterfront. In there i had cask Green king IPA and London Pride. But my favourite of the whole trip which i had never tasted before was Fullers cask ESB, loved it, had this in Acton where my friend lives.
I tried a fair few English ales from bottles and can't help thinking they're very similar, so i think english ales aren't really my thing. Was really only near a Morrisons and they had no brewdog which i was looking forward to.

It's a bit out your way, but the Wenlock Arms (Tube: Old Street) would be well worth going to. It's one of the best-known well-reputed beer pubs in London and it's being demolished next month[/url:3o78j2xq].

Shabby old pub, great beer, very friendly locals. London is losing one of it's great traditional alehouses.
