Not strictly about an Irish craft beer so sorry if off topic slightly - myself and grainne wandered into a new pub on Capel St called McNeills last Friday night. Seems to have been open about 6 weeks, on premises of a trad music instrument shop which has moved upstairs. Amongst the usual bottles they did have Leffe and Hoegaarden (macro, but tasty IMHO), but most surprisingly, Fullers ESB which I've never seen in Dublin before. Something different, but steep at €6.60 a bottle! 2 open fires, small and cosy with impromptu trad sessions going so you could do worse. Nothing special on draught, but they did seem open to our suggestion they add a "contemporary Irish beer" (grainne's words!) such as Hooker. We'll see if it ever happens <!-- s:-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="
