Thats a shame. Its by far the best 'home' beer they have on tap in my opinion

Yes i think it is a lovely stout also. I quite like the Rebel Red and Friar Weisse also -somehow I think the Red never tastes as well anywhere else as it does on its home turf.

The last Shandon I had tasted powerfully of iodine. I'm not in a mad rush back to it after that.

I am a bit surprised by that. Have had many pints of it over the years and always found it very good.

I enjoyed a bottle of O'Haras Stout with my lunch last week in 'The Farm' on Dawson St. They also have Double L Cider on the menu. (3 Dawson St., Dublin 2)
