The Bierhaus Cork Adam
we have given our guinness tap a little head stone simply R.I.P Arthur!
we are only the third pub not to sell Guinness after Callanans on Georges quay and one more im led to believe.
the plan is to probably to run micro stouts in the cooler months as well as other beers during the year.

Is it fair to say that Cork pubs can get rid of Guinness a little easier than in the rest of the country, owing to the Murphys/Beamish alternative?

Many moons ago I was in Maher's in Waterford, one of the last men-only pubs in Ireland, and they also didn't sell Guinness, but they did have the two Cork stouts. Which was slightly ironic as Guinness own Cherry's brewery in Waterford city, and large bottles are very popular.

Probably, but it's still significant that any Irish pub can ditch Guinness.

Speaking of Beamish, I was passing Barry's hotel earlier and they're selling Beamish for €2.75 a pint. Cheapest in the country ?

O'Hara's Red was €2.85 in a pub close to me, but no-one drank it, and now there's a Foster's tap where it used to be!

Last time I drank Beamish in a pub I paid £1.50 a pint.

Great Denmark Street, just off Parnell square. Bit of a dump.
