Meeting a brewer from the US for pints on Saturday. 18 years 9 months ago #1

Hi All,
I will be meeting a brewer from the US for a couple of pints on Saturday. If you post on RealBeer.com you might know Mill Rat. If anybody would like to join us and have a brewer geek talk session, let me know. We will be heading to the Bull and Castle, time to be decided.

I am up for it , are you also going to bring him to the porterhouse?

Possibly! I gotta do a load of family stuff over the weekend before the other half heads off to the Fatherland for a few weeks, but I'll do my best

Does than mean you have a load of brewing time lined up?

Abslutely! I'll be home alone for 4 weeks before I have to go over there myself (getting married over there on 3rd of August) so plan on doing at least 2-3 brews. The last one should be a big one that'll happily sit in a fermenter for three weeks. Maybe big in volume and gravity as I have a 50 litre glass carboy we've been meaning to use, so a 40 litre American IPA may just go into it

I've no idea how what time we will be meeting, or how long he will be staying out, so I don't know. The reason I suggested the Bull and Castle is that he will be staying near Christchurch anyway.

I think the best idea is that, we meet and then decide.
