I quite like Guinness <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->

I drink O'Hara's and other porters and stouts as well, but compared to other macro beers (heineken, bud etc) Guinness is not a bad pint.

I have to agree, as a staple pint it's not the worst in the world. Choice is good and all, but if you're down the sticks and the choice is limited then Guinness is a good banker.

True enough if you go to the right Pub the Guinness can be really nice and yes much better than the other Macro's.

Of Course I'd go for a large bottle if they had them -although I know they can be a bit fizzy for a lot of folk .

Especially if they have it in the bottle like my local had last time I was in for a Rugby match. Not the 6 nations though as I was at the Italy game, saw the French game in Cork and the Welsh game at home.
