at the risk of being banned forever from the beer county 16 years 6 months ago #1

my patience has run out just like my wife did 10 years ago <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->.
The brews a brewing but it must get around thirty days in the bottles to do its thing i'm told. My daily fix (beer wise that is) being a must, i need a filler 'til that golden opening day arrives again, so, being unemployed, rather than forking out on expensive beers i'd like to go on the 'hackenberg' beer for a month. I like it, but would welcome any useful opinions from any folks within the community regarding its contents from a 'good ingrediants' stand point.
the tin boasts of the malt & barley of the 'finisht' quality but i wonder sometimes does that make it better than bavaria (my 2nd choice for taste)

you could probably get away with trying your beer after 2 weeks <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

when the moneys tight for me, I generally mix. Buy one good (usually strong tasting) and the rest cheapo, then mix a small amount of good with the bad and you end up with okay beer.

2 weeks aint so bad i suppose 16 years 6 months ago #5

thanks all for responses here gents.
I'm currently investigating a pill that allows me to sleep for 2 weeks. I've managed to invent a slow beer drip to keep the body ticking over 'til the 14th day. I'm using beer in my meditations now which has brought moments of ectasy to near levitation. I'm geared nicely to dream of me and some strong beers having a whale of a time in some small irish pub next to a beauty spot beach wise, might throw in a couple a bikini beings to spice things up when the beer kicks in. Location?, somewhere in the carribean (not too fussy as to where). Things are lookin up

9.99 Lidl Pils or Weiss in a five litre keg ( the pils tastes exactly like lager should , the weiss is a bit thin)

Buy a few bungs and the Kegs reusable for your homebrew.

That'd be my suggestion . it'd last longer on the drip anyway .
