Try the supermarkets. I have found some smashing german and english beers in odd parts of spain....and very cheap too. El Corte Englaise ...not sure how its spelt...usually has a nice big selection...but stay away from the yellow spanish beers and to be honest most of the dark ones are muck too.

Just back from Spain had a great time trying lots of different beers from supermarkets and bars at very reasonable prices - there was a bright orange thing in the sky but I thought it best to avaid it by sitting in the shade with a beer <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) -->

I´m 7 days into the hols with seven to go,
I´ve managed to get

Leffe Bruin
Leffe Blonde
Hoegaarden
Schneider Weisse Original
Erdinger Hefe Weisse
Erdinger Dunkel
Weistephaner Hefe Weisse
Franziskaner Hefe Weisse
Paulaner Hefe Weisse
Krombacher Pils
Frankenheim Alt (the best of the lot)

and then any amount of spanish lagers some quite good if you keep your eyes out, they all do a couple of different types and some of the darker ones are pretty tasty.

And lets not forget Van Der Murphy´s Dutch Red. which is lame beyond belief.

Frankenheim was one of my favourite alts when I lived in Germany, good stuff alright.
Good Krombacher is a treat too.
