Looks like we all got back to this topic late. I also went to Targowa, as recommended to me by Tomas Kopyra the above Polish contact. I had the 5 beer samples, mostly Polish with Anchor xmas one thrown in (there w end of 13dec). I went for dumplings they were on my to do list when in Poland, baked potato, and wife had spare ribs. Value for money was very good, and the food was good also. This place is right beside the bridge over to Cathedral island to do some sightseeing. Feniks supermarket on corner of Rynek had some good Polish craft beers, i got some for hotel room. That my my whole craft beer experience of Wroclaw, i would have liked more but hey I won the weekend away and had to drink cocktails and prosecco at the free events both nights...
The trams were easy to use, with our chip debit card, 90cent for about 6stops. The Rynek was a very beautiful square (2 squares i think) the christmas market was very nice also, as was the cherry mulled wine and fire pits, security guard there very helpful also for directions. I think the 500ml bottle of craft beer in hotel bar was only about 3.50! Poland was good value for food and drinks and trams/taxis, but clothing generally the same. I thought Wroclaw was a very nice place, probably not top of peoples Polish cities, but I would recommend it and will return again someday.
