For off-licences, Oddbins have a great range of London beers in most of (or maybe all) their shops now. The one at London Bridge station is a regular stop for me.
Im going to do the Bermondsey beer mile next Saturday. Im planning on starting at 11, only worry is missing out on kernal beers as they close at 2 and i read they get jammed. I wonder is it smart to head their first or maybe second? Skip fourpure or partizan?!
I did Kernel first on my trip. Get the overground from London Bridge to Bermondsey station then just a short walk. Plenty of food options around for breakfast. Don't miss the bottleshop which has set up premises nearby. YOu can easily walk from there up to Partizan (well worth it, lots of great stuff) then back to Brew By numbers (even with a quick check back@kernel fd necessary). Then finish at Anspach and Hobday/Sparrow and you have maltby street market for your afternoon grub. Then you're basically at tower bridge for either draft house or into borough market for the rake.
Budget 5-6 hours to get a proper run at it. I never made it to fourpure but have heard good things; they're just a bit further out though.
