Hi all,

My time at B&C is coming to an end. I've enjoyed being involved with ICB & Beoir over the years and really appreciate all the help and support I have been shown.

If you don't already know, I'm opening the Headline Bar on Clanbrassil street as a craft & premium beer bar with a focus on Irish products throughout. There are areas for private meetings / tastings / meet ups, and I plan to introduce tasting nights with suppliers and other beer related events.

I hope to see you all soon for some good beer and a few pies, and again thanks for your support over the years, you all play a vital role in the survival of Craft Beers and the Bars that retail them.

Best of luck Geoff, great to see another venue opening with a focus on good and especially Irish beer and products.

The B&C won't be the same without you. The craft beer scene in Dublin has changed considerably since you took over and I think you are at least partly responsible for that, by showing other pubs that putting in a tap of that funny microbrewery stuff isn't actually a daft thing to do.

I'm sure I'll be able to drag myself to Clanbrassil street at some stage and have a look at your new place.

Geoff, sad to here you're leaving the B&C. I remember when we did a piece about it back in the ICB days, when it was all new and exciting, and a beacon for Irish beer. But, great to hear you're still taking the lead! Another place I have to pop into next time I'm back over.
